Sebastiano Sorbello nasce nel 1975 a Zafferana Etnea (CT). Si diploma al liceo linguistico e inizia a lavorare nel ristorante di casa al fianco di chef siciliani, nazionali e internazionali. Gestisce Sabir Gourmanderie e il catering e banqueting Seby Sorbello Cooking Out all’interno del Parco dei Principi Resort nel 5 stelle Esperia Palace Hotel. Per 8 anni è presidente dell’associazione provinciale Cuochi Etnei e di FIC Promotion. Ideatore di Cibo Nostrum, scrive “Tacuinum Barocco” e “L’Equazione del Gusto” con i giornalisti Alex Revelli Sorini e Susanna Cutini.
Riceve il Premio Apicio e viene nominato Cuoco dell’anno da Solidus. Dal San Raffaele di Roma riceve la laurea honoris causa in Scienze gastronomiche. L’Associazione della stampa gli assegna il premio “Tito Mascali” e il premio giornalistico “Raccontare Catania”. Al 50° Vinitaly cura la Evo Gala Dinner. È due volte giudice al Bocuse d’or. È docente internazionale a Ramallah, in Palestina, e a Minsk, in Bielorussia. Alla BIT di Milano rappresenta la Sicilia. Vanta partecipazioni in programmi tv su canali Rai, Mediaset, Sky, Alice, Antenna Sicilia, Telecolor.

Sebastiano Sorbello was born in 1975 in Zafferana Etnea, Catania. He graduated from linguistic high-school and started working in the family restaurant side by side with chefs from Sicily but also from all over Italy and abroad. He took care of Sabir Gourmanderie and catering and banqueting Seby Sorebello Cooking out in Parco dei Principi Resort in 5 stars Esperia Palace Hotel. He was President of the local association Cuochi Etnei and of FIC Promotion. He created Cibo Nostrum, wrote “Tacuinum Barocco” and “L’Equazione del Gusto” together with journalists Alex Revelli Sorini and Susanna Cutini.
He was awarded the Premio Apicio and was nominated Cook of the Year by Solidus. He was also awarded an honorary degree in Gastronomic Sciences. The Press Association awarded him the Tito Mascali prize and the journalistic prize “Raccontare Catania”. At the 50th edition of Vinitaly he was in charge of the Evo Gala Dinner. He was twice judge at Bocuse d’or and he is a teacher in Ramallah, Palestine and in Minsk, Belarus. He represented Sicily at BIT, in Milan. He also often took part in TV programs on Rai, Mediaset, Sky, Alice, Antenna Sicilia and Telecolor channels.
