Nata a Perugia nel 1961, è figlia di ristoratori e cresciuta a diretto contatto con il mondo dell’ospitalità. Ha preso dalla famiglia la passione per la buona cucina e la sensibilità per le tradizioni e l’accoglienza. Apre il ristorante Il Falconiere nel 1989, restaurando e trasformando la vecchia Limonaia della villa di famiglia, iniziando a proporre una sua cucina, creando un proprio stile di ospitalità.
Nel 1993 insieme al marito Riccardo inaugura le prime nove camere del Relais e in seguito trasforma tutti gli annessi dell’antica proprietà di famiglia per creare quello che oggi è un elegante Wine Resort 5 stelle. Il ristorante è stella Michelin dal 2002, mentre il complesso è entrato a far parte della famiglia Relais & Chateaux. Conta, fra le altre cose, un’azienda vitivinicola di 32 ettari e la Thesan Spa, luogo ideale per riscoprire relax e benessere.
Silvia Baracchi vanta numerose collaborazioni con chef di fama internazionale, ha partecipato a numerose trasmissioni televisive e ha contribuito a esportare la cucina cortonese nel mondo, da Dubai al Canada fino alla Cina.

Silvia was born in 1961, in Perugia. She is daughter of restaurateurs and she grew up besides the hospitality world. She inherited from her family the passion for the tasty cuisine and the sensibility of traditions and hospitality. She opened her own restaurant in 1989, restoring and transforming the old Limonaia of the family villa, proposing a personal cuisine, creating her hospitality style.
In 1993 together with her husband Riccardo she inaugurated the first nine rooms of the Relais and afterwards she changed all the annexes of the ancient family property to create the elegant Wine Resort, five stars. The restaurant is Michelin Star since 2002, and the structure is part of the family Relais & Chateaux. In addition to this, she has 32 hectares of winery farm and the Thesan Spa, a perfect place to discover relax and welfare.
Silvia Baracchi boasts various collaborations with chefs of international fame, she has taken part to numerous TV shows and she has contributed to export the Cortona cuisine in the world, from Dubai to Canada, up to China.
