Classe 1965, Vincenzo De Giorgio nasce tarantino, in una famiglia dove la cucina era sinonimo di passione e convivialità. Già da piccolo si destreggiava tra il panificio dello zio e il suo orto personale. Dopo aver conseguito il diploma alberghiero amplia il suo bagaglio formativo presso diverse attività ristorative, dalla trattoria all’hotel cinque stelle, e partecipa a numerose competizioni di cucina, classificandosi in ottime posizioni.
È nel 2000 che apre il servizio catering “La grande eventi” e inizia a lavorare in hotel di sua proprietà: una struttura firmata Best Western a Prato nel 2002 e il Resort San Giorgio nel 2009. Continuano gli spostamenti, e continua l’incessante desiderio di migliorare sé stesso e il proprio stile. Ecco perché, dopo l’ultima esperienza all’Hotel Terminal e all’adiacente Villa la Meridiana, dove ha diretto e organizzato il settore ristorazione, De Giorgio si è trasferito tra i fornelli del Franklins Restaurant a Londra, dove porta con fierezza e talento i prodotti e la tradizione della tanto rinomata e ricercata Cucina italiana.

Vincenzo De Giorgio was born in 1965, in Taranto, in a family in which the cuisine is synonymous of passion and conviviality. As a child he manages between his uncle’s bakery and his personal vegetable garden. After attending the Hotel School, he starts his working experiences in various restaurants, from taverns to five stars Hotels, taking part to numerous competitions, placing himself in excellent positions.
In 2000 he opens the catering service “La Grande Eventi” and he starts working in his own Hotels: a structure signed Best Western in Prato in 2002, and the Resort San Giorgio in 2009. He moves continuously, together with the never-ending desire to improve himself and his personal style. That is why, after his last experience at Hotel Terminal and at Villa la Meridiana, where he directed and organized the restaurants, De Giorgio moved in London, at the Franklins Restaurant. Here he has the honour to bring with his talent the products and the tradition of the very famous Italian Cuisine.
